GET ACTIVE IN THE SOUTH CARIBOO!
This unique guide, produced by Canlan Ice Sports/South Cariboo Recreation Centre, is inclusive of ALL leisure and recreation groups, clubs, and associations. It includes private businesses and volunteer-run non-profit groups. This guide serves to improve accessibility to active living for South Cariboo residents of all ages by gathering the information and contacts all in one place. Also, this guide has been developed to show prospective residents how much there really is "to do" in this region. Special thanks to the District of 100 Mile House and the Cariboo Regional District for your support of this community project.
Centennial Park & Municipal Campground
Just east of downtown, visitors enjoy the vastness of Centennial Park, known for its playground, picnic area, tennis courts, walking trails, dynamic waterfalls, skateboard park and campground facilities. If you or a member of your family are interested in booking Centennial Park for a large event please call (250) 395-2434. Our Municipal RV Park & Campsite is a first come first serve site, reservations are not required and space is limited ($15.00 a night).
100 Mile Nordics

100 Mile House Curling Club
100 Mile Curling Club has mens and ladies leagues, as well as seniors, youth, businesses, blind curlers, and new-comers. We also have an excellent lounge facility for rent, for any kind of event, at a very reasonable rate.

South Cariboo Recreation Centre
The South Cariboo Recreation Centre is one of 18 facilities throughout North America for Canlan Ice Sports Corp. Over the past 9 years Canlan Ice Sports has called the recreation centre in 100 Mile House home, with providing the community with many different programs and events that residents and visitors can enjoy. The facility maintains ice for 9 months of the year and for 3 months it plays host to many different events from local graduations celebrations to the Annual South Cariboo Fall Fair. We offer many different programs, for young and old everyone can participate.

100 Mile Figure Skating Club

100 Mile House Soccer Association
The 100 Mile House and District Soccer Association (OMHSA) is the governing body for soccer in 100 Mile House & surrounding area. Soccer in the area has experienced excellent growth in the past few years. In 1991 the Association registered approximately 300 players and over the last few years we have averaged approximately 500 kids! Soccer is the largest Sports Association in BC. Over 50% of players are female, the higherst percentage of female soccer participation in Canada.

South Cariboo Weavers, Spinner and Fibre Artists Guild
Spinning, weaving and other fibre arts form the core of Guild activities. The Guild meets the 1st Friday of each month from September to June at 10:00, Parkside Art Gallery, 100 Mile House, B.C.

100 Mile & District Arts Council
Established in 1974 and incorporated in 1975, the 100 Mile & District Arts Council is a volunteer-run, community based umbrella organization for local arts and cultural groups. We are dedicated to developing opportunities for area residents to experience and/or participate in creative and cultural endeavours. Please visit www.100milearts.com for more information.
Parkside Art Gallery
The Parkside Art Gallery is a non-profit gallery, run totally by volunteers, and is provided with gallery space by the District of 100 Mile House.
The Gallery is open to the public Tuesday - Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Would you like to plant a garden but don't have the space? Large 12' X 20' plots for rent, $20.00 for the growing season ($10.00 is refunded after the plot is cleaned up in the fall). For more information please contact Bruce Madu 250-395-7700 and get growing!

South Cariboo Aquatic Society - Create the Wave!
The South Cariboo Aquatic Society has been established to help promote and eventually facilitate the construction of an aquatic facility in our area. It is our strong belief that the benefits of such a facility will be of great benefit to our communities.

Trails Linkage Plan
The Trails Linkage Plan has been formulated to identify a unified network of existing and proposed trails providing a comprehensive trail system throughout the Municipality of 100 Mile House. By involving local user groups, through community input and by discussions with individual land owners, the plan has addressed all present and future needs within the community in a manner which will allow the implementation of the plan over time for the benefit of residents, businesses and visitors to 100 Mile House.
