Sporting Groups

The District of 100 Mile House is home to a range of leisure and recreation groups, clubs, and associations. It includes private businesses and volunteer-run non-profit groups. There is so much in the region for residents and visitors alike to do, including activities through the following groups.

Recreation Groups in Our Region

The South Cariboo Recreation Centre is one of 18 facilities throughout North America for Canlan Ice Sports Corp. Over the past nine years, Canlan Ice Sports has called the recreation centre in 100 Mile House home, with providing the community with many different programs and events that residents and visitors can enjoy. The facility maintains ice for nine months of the year and for three months it plays host to many different events from local graduations celebrations to the Annual South Cariboo Fall Fair. They offer many different programs, for young and old everyone can participate.

The 100 Mile House and District Soccer Association (OMHSA) is the governing body for soccer in 100 Mile House & surrounding area. Soccer in the area has experienced excellent growth in the past few years. In 1991 the Association registered approximately 300 players and over the last few years they have averaged approximately 500 kids!
