NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The District of 100 Mile House will hold a Public Hearing at the 100 Mile House Community Hall, located at 265 Birch Avenue, 100 Mile House, on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. to consider Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1439, 2025. The purpose of the amendment bylaw is to amend District of 100 Mile House Zoning Bylaw No. 1290, 2016.
Subject Property: Lot 19, Plan 28704, DL 2136, Lillooet District, also known as 721 Cariboo Trail
The proposed bylaw amendment is to:
Add a definition for “specialized home support services”
Add ‘specialized home support services” as a principal permitted use on the subject property
“Specialized home support services” means a staffed residential premises providing care, counseling, life skills training, and 24-hour support for up to two children or youth per unit, exempt from licencing under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act as per the applicable health authority’s regulations.
The proposed bylaw may be inspected during normal working hours in the Municipal Office, 385 Birch Avenue until 4:00 p.m. Feb. 4, 2025. If you deem your interests to be affected by this bylaw, please submit your comments in writing or attend the Public Hearing and you will be given an opportunity to be heard.
