Forestry crews are planning to burn small piles of woody debris in the 100 Mile Community Forest over the next month. Smoke and flames may be visible from 100 Mile House and surrounding residential areas. Burning may begin as early as Oct. 21, 2020 and continue periodically for approximately one month. The affected areas are along the Horse Lake Ridge to the North Ranchettes.
This is the final step in the Fuel Management program for these blocks.
