Notice from the District of 100 Mile House

Now that the Fire Danger Rating is lower, we have received some precipitation, and we are back to more seasonal temperatures, the District of 100 Mile House will be resuming fuel treatments in the District Woodlot at the 99 Mile area.  Fuel treatments consist of mechanical piling.

Fuel treatment operations will start as early as August 27^th, 2021 and are expected to be completed by late fall.  No burning of machine or hand piles will be done until venting and safety conditions are fully met.
