The District of 100 Mile House is home to a variety of arts and recreational groups and amenities that provide a vibrant and diverse backdrop to our community.
Arts & Culture in Our District
The 100 Mile & District Arts Council is one example of the organizations that develop programming and resources for the area. It is a volunteer-run, community based umbrella organization for local arts and cultural groups, dedicated to developing opportunities for area residents to experience and/or participate in creative and cultural endeavours.
The Parkside Art Gallery is a non-profit gallery, run totally by volunteers, and is provided with gallery space by the District of 100 Mile House.
The Gallery is open to the public Tuesday - Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Would you like to plant a garden but don't have the space? Large 12' X 20' plots for rent, $20.00 for the growing season ($10.00 is refunded after the plot is cleaned up in the fall). For more information please contact Donna Lace 250-395-2556 or Bruce Madu 250-395-7700 and get growing!
Spinning, weaving and other fibre arts form the core of Guild activities. The Guild meets the 1st Friday of each month from September to June at 10:00, Parkside Art Gallery, 100 Mile House, B.C.

The Cariboo Artists' Guild is devoted to bringing together artists for the encouragement, promotion, and enhancement of the visual arts at the local community level.
The Guild meets the 1st Tuesday of the month, Mar-Jul and Sept-Dec, at Parkside Art Gallery. We offer Life Drawing, workshops, our Annual Summer Art Show, and Showcase Gallery Exhibits.
